Designation - Asst Manager/Manager – Distribution
We are urgently looking for Asst Manager/Manager – Distribution to be based at our head office in Mumbai.
Below mentioned is the detailed job description. The candidate will be a key member of the Sales & distribution team of the Company, contributing to the overall progress of the department.
Job description: -
1. Keep track and analyse the product demand to forecast next month’s forecast and take part in giving production requirement to factory.
2. Set distribution goals, plan and manage distribution operations to facilitate achievement within realistic time lines.
3. Follow up with factory to ensure timely deliveries and then plan proper quantity of despatches from locations to all distribution centres with the best possible transport options.
4. Develop distribution budgets and manage expenses within the budgets.
5. Decide best transport options, negotiate with transporters and if necessary, finalize transport contracts.
6. Ensure prompt payment collections from customers by coordinating with field staff.
7. Ensure distributors provide all financial, stock, despatch, reconciliation and other statements and supporting timely and ensure these statements are accurate and proper.
8. Record all the sales of each month properly, complete proper invoicing and also keeping all other entries/accounts up to date like issue of credit/debit notes etc.
9. Take physical stock at warehouses and complete relevant entries and formats, ensure warehouses follow all guidelines and conduct audit checks for the same.
10. Addressing customer queries and ensuring the highest degree of customer satisfaction.
11. Assist in inventory management activities including receiving, storing, rotating and handling supplies in distribution centre.

Candidate profile:-
- Any graduate with minimum 5 years of experience in distribution of pharmaceutical formulations.
- Should have a strong command over written & verbal communication in English.
